🍹 How It All Started 🍹
SF Fruit Co was founded in Las Vegas, Nevada — at the center of hospitality, entertainment, and high-volume beverage service. Surrounded by hotel pools, concerts, festivals, and nightlife, we saw firsthand the challenges operators and guests face when serving drinks at scale.
What started it all was a simple but important concern: guest safety and environmental responsibility.
But the deeper we looked, the clearer the picture became.
It wasn’t just about what drinks were served in. It was about how they were served.
In high-volume environments, the bar isn’t broken. It’s overloaded.
Long lines build. Guests wait. Bartenders repeat the same steps over and over: cup, ice, pour, mix, garnish, lid, handoff. Multiply that by thousands of drinks and the friction compounds fast.
At the same time, while glass containers had already been removed in many venues, the replacement often meant mountains of single-use plastic cups. Spills, unattended drinks, and waste continued to create real operational and environmental strain.
We knew there had to be a better way.
The Problem We Set Out to Solve
Spilled drinks may seem harmless, but at scale they create serious issues. Alcohol entering pools reduces chemical effectiveness, often forcing venues to drain, scrub, and refill pools — wasting water, time, and revenue. On dance floors and in high-traffic areas, spills increase cleanup demands, safety risks, and unnecessary waste.
But spills were only part of the story.
In concerts, stadiums, resorts, and festivals, beverage lines often surge precisely when demand peaks. Traditional drink service requires multiple touchpoints and repeated ingredient handling, slowing throughput and increasing congestion. Every extra step behind the bar becomes a bottleneck. Guests feel it. Operators lose it.
Beyond infrastructure and operational concerns, drink safety was another growing issue. Open cups are easily left unattended and vulnerable to tampering in crowded, high-energy environments where guests move between swimming, dancing, and socializing.
SF Fruit Co was created to rethink how drinks are served in these environments — focusing on containment, portability, deterrence, and speed.
The Solution That Became Sipperz®
From that mission, Sipperz® by SF Fruit Co was born.
Our reusable and recyclable pouch system was designed to reduce spills, limit waste, and keep drinks sealed and with the guest at all times. Waterproof, sealable, and wearable with a lanyard, Sipperz allows for hands-free enjoyment while helping venues maintain cleaner pools, safer dance floors, and more efficient operations.
Because drinks are mixed and consumed directly from a self-contained, sealable pouch, Sipperz also acts as a strong deterrent to drink tampering, making it extremely difficult for outside substances to be added without notice.
Operationally, Sipperz changes the rhythm of service.
By reducing steps, minimizing cup handling, and simplifying drink builds, it helps move lines faster and increase throughput during peak periods — without requiring more staff, more space, or more complexity.
It is not just packaging.
It is a format shift.
Expanding Beyond the Pool
What began as a poolside solution quickly proved valuable far beyond that setting.
As we continued working with operators, it became clear that the same principles — spill prevention, waste reduction, guest safety, and faster service — apply across many environments. From concerts and sporting events to resorts, cruise lines, festivals, and outdoor attractions, SF Fruit Co product solutions support better beverage experiences without added operational strain.
